近年社會上不斷呼籲要以平常心接納身障者，為此政府還修訂身心障礙者權益保障法維護他們的權益，但多數人卻還是深陷在身障者沒有獨立謀生能力的刻板印象裡，導致身障者在社會上找工作仍是困難重重。
