Manual Labor’s Situation
Most of manual labor jobs are unskilled positions. Despite being unskilled, many manual labors pay well due to dangerous workplace. They generally don‘t have a regular employer. So the jobs are more insecure and have low stability. The manual labors need to face a lot of problems, one of them is that the manual labors are the less conspicuous labor group in society.
Unsung Heroes: the Blue-collar Workers
In Taiwan, there is a group of people who get their hands dirty doing manual work and devote themselves to public construction, but few people seem to appreciate their contributions and some people even despise them—they are the blue-collar workers.
Is that really easy to get high salary ?
Although labor’s work isn’t glamorous, but all of them put in a lots of hard work, it’s worthy to respect. If there aren’t anyone want to do these, how can we live in any sturdy buildings? All occupations are considered of equal value.
